In September of 1995, Entertainment Tonight asked actor Daniel Roebuck

(The Late Shift, The Fugitive and the upcoming U.S. Marshalls to travel America as a special correspondent to capture the Halloween experience for their audience.

Mr. Roebuck teamed up with producer, Chuck Williams, (Double Blast, Eddie Presley) and film archivist/Halloween expert Bob Burns (Sci Fi Buzz) to create the ET segment which aired in October 1995.

In 1996, this same creative team decided to expand on the idea and HALLOWEEN.... ..THE HAPPY HAUNTING OF AMERICA was born.

Roebuck, Williams and Burns set out across the United States this past October to cover all the wonderful traditions of the American Halloween celebration. Their travels took them to haunted houses, scary hay rides, monster movie conventions and Halloween parades in 12 different states.

In addition to these places and events, the video also includes exclusive interviews with ghoulish celebrities such as Robert (Freddy Krueger) Englund, Alice Cooper, Boris Karloff's daughter - Sarah, Ron Chaney - the great grandson of Lon Chaney, Sr., Doug (Pinhead) Bradley, Angus Scrimm (Phantasm) and a behind-the-scenes look at Don Post and Henry Alvarez Studios plus rare photos and Halloween footage.

HALLOWEEN: THE HAPPY HAUNTING OF AMERICA concentrates on those Halloween traditions which are fun and family oriented.

A must-see program for every fan of our favorite spooky holiday and those who aren t afraid to have the "yell" scared out of them!

Fasten your seatbelts for a chillingly fun trip through this country's spookiest holiday!
